For reasons that escape me, the operators of the sites listed below think it's okay to grab content from Roger's Reference and use it, verbatim and without permission, to advertise their own products.

Well, that's just not on.

You will note that none of the above are clickable links from here - for obvious reasons (you could, of course, copy and paste any one into your browser, but why waste your time?).

They are all basically the same: ripping off my content to advertise other stuff by cloaking and/or site redirection.

I contacted a few about their transgression; a couple have responded positively, resulting in removal from the above list.

Over time, I'm hoping they will all just wither away, and drop off search results like the rotten fruit they are...

But to help ensure productive searching for yourself, try to find search results that contain the actual URL (of the website you want) immediately following the HTTP: for example, http://rogersreference.com/crazyenglish.htm. Anything else is likely to be bogus, as fully shown by the URL traps listed above.

Note: you can always see the URL in search results before you click through.
